The Story at Immanuel Church

I am thrilled with the opportunity to preach through the Bible this coming year at Immanuel Church. Beginning this coming September, our congregation will follow the 31 chapters of a book called, The Story, in our worship services as well as small groups and Sunday School classes. Our Children’s Ministry will follow the same schedule allowing parents and children to discuss the same lesson each week. The Story is an opportunity for persons familiar and unfamiliar with the Bible to grasp the main story line of God’s message of grace, forgiveness and hope that is at the heart of the Bible. I would also be thrilled if you joined our church family in this year-long study, beginning September 7, 2014. A copy of The Story will be made available to everyone at no charge.

The Story is an abridged Bible, arranging selected texts of the Bible in chronological sequence. There are no verse references in this version of the Bible. The scripture text is woven together with transition summaries written to connect the message of the Bible so that it reads like a seamless story.

Immanuel Church is launching this teaching series during morning worship on Sunday morning, September 7, 2014. Immanuel is located at 1900 S Taft Hill Rd. in Fort Collins, Colorado. Summer Sunday Worship begins at 9:30 am, changing to 10:30 am on Sunday, September 7.
